About the Founder

Dawn Lim, Founder & CEO


Dawn Lim founded Alnico after years of helping businesses grow through strategic marketing, customer acquisition, and commercial leadership. Throughout her career, she has worked with companies at different stages of growth—from early-stage startups to established businesses—helping leadership teams navigate the challenges of scaling revenue, strengthening market positioning, and building sustainable growth.

Through these experiences, Dawn identified a common challenge. Many companies needed experienced marketing leadership to guide strategy, decision-making, and team development, but were not yet ready to hire a full-time Chief Marketing Officer. As a result, founders and leadership teams were often left making critical marketing decisions without the benefit of senior marketing expertise.

This insight led her to establish Alnico, a Fractional CMO consultancy that gives businesses access to experienced marketing leaders on a flexible basis. Alnico helps companies develop effective marketing strategies, sharpen their go-to-market approach, build internal marketing capabilities, and create the systems and processes needed to support growth.

Today, Dawn leads a team of experienced Fractional CMOs who work closely with founders, leadership teams, and marketing teams as strategic partners and advisors. Together, they provide senior marketing leadership, objective guidance, and practical expertise to help businesses make better marketing decisions, strengthen team capabilities, and achieve their growth ambitions.
